SEND A KID TO CAMP THIS SUMMER!  DONATE NOW!

At SoWisdom Center for Living and Learning we envision a world in which young people competently and consciously choose to sow wisdom and create collaborative community through the Sacred Arts of Living and Learning Sustainably; Caring and Sharing Creatively.  That is why we have decided to create the Ubuntu Community Summer Arts Camp Experience!

Inspired by the South African cultural wisdom of Ubuntu-rooted in the belief that “I am, because We are,”  our mission is to teach young people how to Care for themselves and Share with others; how to Be True to their unique individual “I am” while contributing to and being concerned for the Well-Being of the collective “We are.”

The UBUNTU Summer Arts Experience brings together professional artists, educators and entrepreneurs from our local communities to provide exceptional, inspirational and fun experiences for youth.

This summer kids will experience the Creative Life Skills of:

  • Centering Self through Daily Moving Meditations with Rev. Karma Cloud
  • Creating Common Unity Through Culinary Arts with Karma and Celia
  • Fashioning Self Esteem through Home and Fashion Design with Artist/Designer, Celia Feliciano of Art Alchemy

Together this unique combination of creative modalities invites children to develop a daily practice of Mindfulness and Self Care, build Creative Community through Food Preparation and Design their Dreams!

We look forward to creating a memorable experience with your children this summer!
